In 1955, Thomas and Irene Vettraino bought an old farmhouse, complete with a green lantern from the prohibition era and started Green Lantern Pizza. That lantern became our legacy. Today, we’re the King of Pepperoni, serving up authentic Detroit-style pizza that’s been perfected over decades. We hand-cut each ingredient, shred all our cheeses and make fresh dough and sauce every morning. You can taste the quality in every bite.

Green Lantern Pizza all started with a restaurant at our iconic spot in Madison Heights. Since 1955, Since opening in 1955, we’ve expanded to 16 locations and counting throughout the larger Metro-Detroit area, but we never forgot the old neighborhood or our mission.
